Aluminum Cross Build-Out and Installation.
The large custom-built cross featured below certainly fits the space in front of this local church perfectly! The cross (made out of ¼” aluminum) is roughly 16’ tall. Meanwhile, the base plate was constructed out of ¾” aluminum.
The complete construction of this display was composed of several steps, including anchoring the cross down with 1-½” all thread, tack-welding the panels from the inside (to prevent any visible welds) and incorporating an access panel into the back to allow for leveling (and finishing touches) during the installation process.
