Various Other Projects at Churches.
In total, our team at Wil-Clair Sheet Metal has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for churches. Along with the individual items featured on the page HERE, there have also been a number of miscellaneous projects that we wanted to highlight. These include:
MAIN CRUCIFIX: While we didn’t construct the crucifix itself, we did assist with the installation. Each of the pieces (used when installing) were painted so they could blend in with the background. However, you can see the work that was done when viewing it from the side or up-close. We utilized eyelets and cables to attach it from above. For further stabilization, we attached a carbon steel painted plate towards the bottom of the cross and wall with a rod installed between the two.
HANDRAILS: Installed on each side of the altar, these handrails were constructed out of 1-½” aluminum pipe and attached at two different points to enhance stability.
HOLY OILS: With this display, we only created the top piece with the dove cut-out. This component was made out of ¼” aluminum and cut by the waterjet machine.
